Awesome course!
Tough, beautiful, target golf course! Played Diable + Desperado combo and man, Desperado is a targer golf, iron play should be sharp! Will definitely come back on my next trip!
Awesome course!!! Top notch
My dad played here years back and he told me to make sure i play it when i visit vegas, and the course did not disappoint at all! Desperado is probably the toughest 9 i've played. Only issue was the pace of play, somehow 5-some was allowed in front of us which caused a back up.
Fun and Difficult
Badlands is a well-designed course with some beautiful holes, however it is quite challenging. The difficulty is in forced carries on drives and approaches to some tight landing areas. If you are striking the ball solid, you will have a blast.....if not...bring plenty of balls.

Phenomenal views. Some holes are way too difficult. Took some of the fun out of the experience.
Too Much Target Golf
If you love target golf, Badlands is your course. I found the course to be in excellent shape and the pace of play was really good. But I found the layout to be far too difficult. Too much target golf. There are not a lot of holes where you can be offline or you'll be searching for balls among the rocks, dirt and native areas. It just isn't my type of golf.

this is a great course to play in Las Vegas
was jus to long of a wait on every hole we played.but was a good day of golf with good friend and family member

You are either in the fairway or on badlands
My buddy and I went to Las Vegas for three days of golf. Badlands was the best course we played especially for the value. The fairways were cut tight but lush and the greens rolled fast but fair. I scored slightly above my average but that was because I kept hitting my approach long and missed badly my come back putt making bogey or worse. Stay below the hole as much as possible to avoid this

Green Condition
The overall condition of the course was very good but the greens were not in the best condition. I played Outlaw and Diablo. Also bonkers were in poor condition with no sand guest little rocks.

REMENBER OF DESPERADO NINE HOLE
It is a very diificult course especially the Desperado
We make a mistake to play from gold marks ( impossible to reach the fairways ) White marks are better
But Holes 8 and 9 are very difficult
poor shape
I am told that badlands will be closing soon and that is why the course is in such bad shape. Greens poor ,tee box's dead and brown and sand traps full of water or mud.Payed $40 from golfnow so price helped.

High prices everywhere... But not here
Golf Now .. What would we do without you! Came from California to enjoy some desert golf but soon realized it's a bit pricy here. Then found this course for $80. Guy I played with got it for $56! Well maintained and easy to drive to. No commute for early tee times. Staff was great. Course is all about TARGET GOLF so hit em straight & keep the course in front of you!! BRING YOUR ROCK WEDGE! Enjoy

Badlands
Very nice course; excellent challenge for "target golfers" - many holes required you to hit up due to deep hazards. Pace of play was good and the fareways, greens were in good shape. My only comment was related to the bunkers - those where I landed seemed very hard and compact; "I needed to chip it out instead of trying my usual sand shot".

Dante's Inferno
I was expecting a warm day. At the last moment, I was switched to another cart to ride with someone. I didn't know there were two bottles of H2O in the first cart for me. They were not transferred to my new cart. Little did I know that there was no water, let me repeat , no water on the course for golfers to drink. Apart came by once during the round offering beverages, 5$ for a bottle of H2O. The greens were super scared from lazy golfers who wouldn't bend over to repair their ball marks. The overall experience was not positive. Wouldn't play here again. Spanish Trail and Paiute are far superior!

Not an easy play
This course has a lot if position shots with blind area landing. Without a local player with knowledge of this layout it is impossible to know where to aim on more then a couple holes. Not recommended for the vacationing player.

Badlands
Course very nice, several holes are cart path only. Pace of play was slow, our foursome was held up often by a twosome in front of us. No marshal on the course. Only saw the beverage cart once during the first 16 holes and twice after that, they did have water on the carts, might want to add your on beverage. Cooler on the cart.

Would never pay again.
The outlaw course resembles a municipal course. No views or outstanding holes. Pace of play was close to 6 hours. Not because of players, starter put way too many groups on course. Clubhouse bathrooms were not up to par. Payed $49 and still felt cheated

No need to bring balls...
you will find plenty in the desert. Tight, tight, tight... The course is just too squirly. Key to play: take much less club off the tee and closely consider where you want to place the ball... Nice views of Red Rock.

Game on
Nice course, helps to play with someone who has played the course cause position is critical. They encourage a 4 hr round but not enforced. If u spray the ball u will not enjoy any of the 9's.
