Very good
I have played "the wax" , maybe a dozen times over the past three years, and it is in, by far the best shape I have ever seen. I head it was recently sold, which I'm not sure that's a good thing, but yet yo see what changes. Anyways, the course is in awesome shape, greens are pretty fast, fairways are in awesome shape, and the rough is very penalizing. What I really like about this place is, it is a great test of your ability, you hit a normal drive, and your left with 180 to the green.
You can't go wrong playing here.

Been awhile
I haven't played this course in fifteen years and heard it was under new management. They have done a very good job the course is in great shape. The greens were a little fast which is a good thing. all in all I would say this is a good value for the money I will be back soon.
Hardest greens in area
Course plays long and greens are rock hard. Must bounce ball on green to score. Rough is long and thick easily causing one shot.
Course is in great shape
It had been several years since I played Weatherwax and was pleased to see the course in such excellent condition. The staff was courteous and the food and beer selection was good. It's worth the drive from Cincinnati.
One of my favorite courses in tri-state/ Dayton area
Maybe my favorite course in the entire area. I put it right there with, and maybe a little ahead of, Heatherwoode, Yankee Trace, Stonelick Hills, etc, aside from the clubhouse (which I couldn't care less about- for me, the course is all that matters as I don't spend much time in the clubhouse when I golf).
The course is usually in very good shape and it is very challenging, yet fair. Lots of nice elevation changes without blind shots. You can be punished severely on some holes if you are spraying, but nothin too tight.
I play here every chance I get and especially when I get a nice deal on GN.
The course was perfect for the first week of December
Had a great time no wait everyone in the clubhouse was friendly. Defiantly will be back
I'll be back.
This was the first time I played here, playing the Woodside and Meadows nines. Nice variety of holes. Greens rolled true even though we had to deal with a misty day. We found out after we arrived we could have had a better deal going through the club due to Customer appreciation week, but I'll still check with Golfnow in the future.
Superb conditions
The starter suggested 2 of the other 4 nines to play due to slow play on the 2 nines we were suppossed to play. He was right, we breezed thru the 18 holes in "no wait" fashion with a 2 some ahead of our twosome.
Different then before
I usally play this course a couple of times during the year. I have always liked to play this course and enjoy it each time. However, this time when I played the course it was not in as good of condition as I have seen in the past. It looked like the fairways was getting burn up. The staff was watering the fairways alot however to try and recover them. I understand courses are going to struggle at times, but it's how you work on the problems or not. Weather Wax has always tried to maintain the course as good as they can from what I have seen. I would go back again.
Nice course and a good value for the money.
Nice course and a good value for the money. Greens and fairways were in good shape. One or two holes needed some work and extra TLC. Some interesting holes with "character". The course was enjoyable.
Huge huge
This course is forgiveness-course because of hitting to anywhere with slice or hook
Great course
This course has 4 different Nine holes. There is enough challenge for the best of players, and fair enough for the beginner. Lakes, creeks, lots of trees make this a great course. The greens are hard and fast with good movement to them. The only downside is, there are some bare patches in some of the fairways, not all just a few. Not a big deal. If your not playing this course, you're missing out.
First time player
Played this for the first time on 7/20. Course is fairly long from the blue tees and fairways were pretty wet so course played even longer than usual. A couple of greens were in rough condition, but the rest of the course was well maintained.
Played behind a fivesome
And saw another on a different 9. On a Sunday? and the ball washer water made my hands stink...5 plus hours. An aggravating round and I still enjoyed the course and look forward to coming back. Four awesome nines that have nothing to do with the other stuff, go play it.
Tough course, well maintained
Meadows 9 was long and narrow. Very challenging playing from the rough. Greens were hard to stick. Valley view was a little shorter and open but still challenging. Great course, worth the money.
Course keeps improving.
Course continually improves over the past five years. Course is a great value for the money. Greens are in good condition along with the fairways.
Great course, already one of my favorites after playing one time!
Course was in great condition. The area had several inches of rain recently and the course drained very well.
great course at a great price
Course was in perfect condition. Speed of play was very good. Could not have asked for a better day on one of the finest courses in southwest Ohio.
Course is in great shape
Two of us played Valley View to Highlands for 18 holes on a Thursday afternoon. With the exception of a couple of tee boxes under repair, the course was in very good condition. Fairways and greens are all very well maintained. It seems that many courses are not keeping their bunkers up this year but Weatherwax's were very good. And I am speaking from the experience of being in several of them!
For the price we paid through GolfNow, this was an unbeatable experience and we will definitely be back!
Overall an enjoyable place to play.
The greens are in good shape however, the par 3 tee boxes a little chewed up. Would like to see some water coolers on the course even with the drinking fountains. Would also like to see a little more description of each hole or at least the blind greens.
