Nice course
I haven't played Weatherwax for over 2 years. The course is still in very good condition. The only negative was that the greens were extremely hard. Four 9 hole courses. We played Valley & Highlands. Especially like the 6 beers for $10.50 special.
Still a decent course
First time playing weather wax this season, course is in decent shape.
Greens were pretty fast but playable, enjoyable round, I would not hesitate to play it again.
Great value
Very nice course. Has some LONG par 4's. Course was in very good condition. I will make a return trip for sure.
Love it!
Absolutely love playing this course. You have all types of challenges, water, woods, hills. Love the setting as you will not have any houses in play, very secluded. Nice fairways and contoured holes. The sand is lacking real sand and folks need to repair their ball marks. Overall great value. Played highlands/woodside in 3.5 hrs and for less than 20 bucks on a weekday special.
Weatherwax is a nice course.
With four nines you never know what you are going to get. But all four are always in good shape and each has its own challenges. One of my favorite places to play.
GREAT GOKF COURSE
This golf course tests every ability you will have to be able to score. Great looking course and in great condition. I will be back soon.
Fariways are Excellent!
From I had heard the course is under new management. Couse is in overall good condition. Greens show some signs of players not knowing how to/or don't repair ballmarks. Bunkers are in really good shape, which I found out personally today. I would like to see divot repair buckets on the par 3's as to be able to fill my own marks up. I will be returning to Weather Wax this summer. Hoping to get to play Woodlands, been out there 5 or 6 times in the last two summers haven't got to play it yet.
One of my favorite places
Been playing Weatherwax for a long time & its still one of my favorites. They have 4 nines so its never crowded. Its in the country- no houses or condos in sight. Greens are fast & smooth
Pretty forgiving off the tee on most holes. For me the length of the par 4s is the most challenging thing. Many 400+ yards from the white tees. I dont hit many greens anywhere so I'm used to chipping & putting for par chances. Try Weatherwax, you'll love it
Fantastic shape, fantastic value
Played here on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. The golf course is in A+ shape right now. In particular, the greens are as quick and as challenging as any you will find in the state outside of the highest-end private courses. We played Woodside and Highlands and by the second nine, we were by ourselves with not a group in sight either behind or in front of us. To play this kind of golf for $24 on GolfNow was -- without exaggeration -- as good of a deal as exists in Greater Cincinnati today.
Excellent Experience on a Great Course
The course was in excellent condition. The new owners have done a great job and everyone from the rangers to the clubhouse personnel was very friendly. I love this course because you must use every club in your bag at some point in the round. Excellent value for the money!
Always worth the trip
I have played here for nearly 30 years. It always presents a strong challenge and is currently in excellent condition. The pace of play is faster than most courses I play (less than 4 hours). It is a great layout and design, which is enhanced by the absence of houses around the perimeter. I only wish I lived closer, as I would take full advantage of their unbelievable annual membership.
Great staff, great course
This was my first time playing at weatherwax. All I can say is it's a great layout with challenging holes. The course it's self was in fantastic condition. I drove and hour to get there due to a nasty storm dumping 5+ inches of rain around where I live the night before. And I will drive an hour again to play the other half of the 27 hole gem I didn't get to play this go around. If your looking for great golf it's here!!! Enough said!!! A++++ staff to boot!!!
Great shape!!
Course is in the best condition in a long time. Greens tees and fairways are very good.
Weatherwax
72 holes which is fun if you don't play there often. Clubhouse staff is very unfriendly, this isn't the first time I've experienced that. Rangers are good guys though, very friendly. Course was in good shape considering the non stop rain. Pace of play was horrible. It's a short 20 minute drive from my house but my review indicates why I only play there once a year
Woodside Mid May
Woodside was in great shape. Fairwarys are very good. Greens were in excellent shape. Some trees have been lost due to Ash Borer, which has opened up some trouble areas on #2. Due to rain, sand was very hard.
Nice course
Very nice course. Played Valley View to Meadows. Well maintained and greens were in great condition. Nice staff and pretty steady pace of play until the college teams showed up. Other than that great experience.
Recently toughened up with tall grass in the second cut of rough. Challenging
I will be back at these prices! Great staff and everyone was friendly!
weatherwax
great ,course was excellent people are very frendly
Great Course!!!
I was referred to this course by a friend because I am not from the area and boy am I glad he did. Weatherwax is a beautiful course that offered a great challenge. The fairways and greens are already in pristine condition. Rough is tough enough that it actually penalizes you for not hitting fairways which makes it nice and tough. Some really cool scenic holes with a lot of elevation changes! The staff was excellent and super friendly which is always an added bonus. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will be going again the next time I got to visit!
