St Paddy's Day
Great course at stunning location. Weather was poor so unable to appreciate the views. Very wet under foot but greens in good condition. Very friendly staff and great food in clubhouse. We will return when the weather improves.
Wow!
A magnificent course in superb condition for the end of February. Help professional golf and clubhouse staff.
Nice layout, terrible pace of play.
This was the second time I played Concra Wood. The layout is excellent with some challenging holes- particularly the par 5s along the lough, which offer a nice risk/ reward element. The conditions were acceptable for January, once you get pst the first hole, where I lost 2 balls to plugging.
The thing that was most annoying was the pace of play. I was a single golfer on this occasion so delays can always be expected and I wasn’t in any real rush. Unfortunately the two 3 balls in front played at an 18 hole pace of 5hrs30mins and 5hrs. I had lunch in the clubhouse in between tee times and reported the issue as a Marshall cart was parked out the back. This wasn’t used at all and the pace was clearly accepted. Despite my lunch break, I managed to catch one 3 ball on the 11th green, although they let me play through on the 12th tee. The other group of members, in front of whom there was no one, didn’t offer this at all. I therefore had an extremely tedious round and despite enjoying the layout (and playing some decent golf), won’t have Concra Wood on the radar to return to anytime soon due to the awful pace of play.

Great day out highly recommended
Great day out highly recommended 👌 staff 100 % . And very welcoming . Corse is on real love the place
Unplayable
Course was unplayable and represented a health and safety issue but left was open for play. Slipped on a mudd slide on the first hole, and multiple times after, could have very easily hurt myself. Did not complete 18 holes due too poor conditions, Played on only because other parties in group wanted to continue. Represents mentality of management to allow play for money rather than safety. Would never play again. Would never recommend this course to anyone, text message day before only mentioned pick and place and bunkers out of play. Nothing about being completely waterlogged and practically unplayable from most positions. Agreed in group to move ball penalty free when in a position which was deemed unplayable. Very disappointed overall
Fantastic
Excellent value for money on a top notch golf course
Beautiful
Great condition for the time of year. Wonderful layout and scenery. A long walk with a few hills but we'll worth it.
Mixed feelings
Got a great price for the course and had wanted to play it for a while. On the day it bucketed down rain, course wasn't really playable and probably shouldn't have opened. Some really spectacular holes, would definitely return on a nice day. As I say, mixed feelings
Winter golf at its finest
What a fantastic day at Concra Wood. The course was in exceptional condition for this time of the year. Greens were pure and fast. Playing without mats is a real bonus this time of the year. The lady in the pro shop was so welcoming and helpful. Only downside of the day was I lost the match on the 18th to my 16 year old son 🫣
Excellent!!
I have played here well over 10 times now and the place just keeps on delivering. Excellent customer service who was happy to rearrange the tee time with the weather quite wet that morning. Some of the holes are simply spectacular.
Will be back many many times in the future.
