Golf Courses in Mobile, AL

Mobile, the gateway to Alabama's beautiful Gulf Shores, is the birthplace of Mardi Gras in the United States. Tourism is very important to Alabama's third-largest city. Mobile has a nice collection of museums, like the Battleship Memorial Park, a military park on Mobile Bay. The Ladd Peebles Stadium has hosted the Senior Bowl, an all-star game for college football seniors, since 1951, and added the GMAC Bowl in recent years. Magnolia Grove, a 54-hole stop on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, brings golf into the equation. The LPGA Tour visits the Crossings Course, and Magnolia Grove's 18-hole short course is considered one of the best par 3s in the country.
