North Shore Golf Course dates back to 1926 when the first 9 was originally designed by Alex Jolley. In 1976, a second 9 was added which completed the 18 holes. A portion of the golf course was redesigned in 1998 by Gil Miller Associates which brought on some unique changes as well as a practice facility.
Founded in 1915, the Escanaba Country Club is the oldest golf course in Delta County. The course was originally nine holes. A renovation project in 1991 expanded the course to 18 holes. The two nines each have their own characteristics.
