Description
The
Deer Run Golf Course is a spectacular Ed Ault
designed Championship Golf Course. The 7206-yard
course will test the mettle of even the most
experienced golfer. Cut among Virginia hard
woods the players rarely see another group of
golfers. Curious white tail deer and the abundance
of wildlife have caused it to be listed in the
National Audobon Society Registry. The Deer
Run course received Golf Digest Best Places
to Play 3 1/2 stars for 2000-2001.

hole. This par-three plays from 215 yards to
135 yards. The tee shot must carry the lake
guarding the front of the green. Just viewing
this hole intimidates all golfers.
