Course Description

Curtis Strange calls Kingsmill home. As our own Touring PGA Professional, we asked him to help design a third championship golf course. A truly unique golf course is the result. The Woods Course, Kingsmill's newest addition, has already been honored by Golf Magazine as one of the "Top Ten New Courses Available For Public Play." Deep menacing ravines. Fairway bunkers surrounding a landing area. A dogleg right to an elevated green. A bunker in the center of a double green. Along with golf course architect Tom Clark we have created a wonderful blend of Kingsmill's two other signature courses tucked away in its own private corner of the resort. A true Curtis Strange original.

Signature Hole

Tough holes are skillfully blended in with more forgiving ones on this 6,784-yard layout so that players are tested rather than tortured. A unique feature on the signature hole twelfth is the double green with a bunker in the center shared with the fifteenth. That is just one of the challenges on this par-3 over water.
