Course
Description
This
spectacular seaside design by famous father/son
team of Pete Dye & P.B. Dye opened in the
spring of 1997. Located on Highway 611 on the
Sinepuxent Bay overlooking Assateague National
Seashore Park, no less than 17 of the 18 holes
have a bay view with several holes having direct
bay frontage. From the back tees this championship
quality course is capable of hosting a PGA tour
stop but forgiving enough for the middle tees
to satisfy golfers of all skill levels. Rum
Pointe offers it's golfers' in each golf cart
the Pro Link GPS System, which is a computerized
yardage book giving you full color graphics
of each hole and provides actual distance from
your cart to pin placement and selected hazards.

Signature
Hole
The
signature hole is #8, a 540-yard, par 5, which
is situated on the Assawoman Bay. This hole,
which has a dogleg fairway, requires three quality
shots. Water borders the left side of this hole.
