Painfully Slow - 3+ hours to play nine holes - NOT WORTH IT
North Hill is a decent track....but expect on weekends it can take close to 3 HOURS to play nine holes. Don't even consider playing 18.
The club is in a money-grab mode. They do not put rangers on the course and it backs up terribly.
Be prepared to hear golfers yelling at each other and hitting balls into slower groups.
There's nothing like playing behind a foursome that's scoring 11's on par 4's...and taking 3 minutes to line up their 4th putt. Painful.
It used to be a decent place, but overcrowding without supervision has turned North Hill into a poor experience. I'll be playing elsewhere.
Solid 9
Had a fun day on the course. Pace of play was extremely slow due to the holiday. Course was in great shape will play again but avoid days when it's crowded for sure. Overall great 9 hole course.
Surprisingly fast greens
The greens were in great condition. They were rolled the morning of the day we played. They were private club fast.
North Hills golf course and play
There was only one thing that deeply bothered me and my friend. They were aerating the course while we were playing! It was extremely irritating, and made it very hard to play on the course. They gave us no instructions, so we weren’t sure what to do. We had to skip two holes, only playing 7 holes out of 9. I just wish they had of warned us of this from the start so we would have known to prepare for it, and also whether to play those holes or skip them!! Otherwise all else was fine. We enjoyed the course , and the day. Thanks for asking and for listening.
Great round of golf
North Hill is a great 9 hole course with great layout for any golfer. Staff is super friendly and cost is reasonable
Good value, quick greens
Because it’s a 9 hole that you play different tees on the second way through, it definitely gets backed up.
First hole is also a par 5, so pace of play when off the bat was slow for us.
Most of the holes are just straight shots, but with elevated greens that were quick when we played. Course is in good shape for lack of rain at the time.
Does have a driving range BUT you have to use and get your own balls. Never heard of that before.
