Twin Springs Golf Course

Bolton, Massachusetts | 9 holes | Par: 34 | 2612 yards

Twin Springs Golf Course is well-suited to golfers of all ages and skill levels. The Par 34 nine hole layout meanders through an old meadow and through a few small, walkable hills. The course is only moderate in length but the small, sloping greens still offer a challenge for even the best golfers. The two springs that give the course its name force golfers to hit precise shots on several holes as water is in play on six of the nine holes. In the last few years Twin Springs has made several changes to improve the course. In addition to rebuilding several tee boxes a new irrigation system has been installed ensuring golfers perfect lies in the lush fairways. The signature hole at Twin Springs Golf Course is the par-four sixth. The three-hundred and eighteen yard par four is a test for any golfer. A risk reward dogleg left, the conventional play is merely two one-hundred and fifty yard shots to the small, sloped green. However, the gambler can take a shot over the tall pines in an attempt to drive the green. Waiting for any imperfect shots are a large brook that runs down the hole’s left side and a large bunker guarding the green. The par-three fourth and fifth are also two holes a golfer will never forget. The significant elevation changes between tee and green and the typically swirling wind cause many golfers to misclub Twin Spring’s short par-threes.
