A challenging course

This is a nice course well maintained and quiet, however it is very challenging with lots of bunkers, water and hazards to hit over. I felt as a woman playing with a man I was at a disadvantage because on occasion after an Initial tee shot of around 120 meters it was then impossible for me to take another normal shot because of where the water/bunkers were situated so I had to play short thus requiring another shot. This was not a problem for my husband because as a man he can naturally hit further clearing the obstacles and requiring less shots. If I was playing with a woman it would not have been a problem. All that said it is a nice course and staff are very friendly, it was just a bit too challenging for someone of my ability, I play off 28 handicap.

Good local course

Played here with a friend on a Thursday afternoon. Conditions were wet, played behind a small group of ladies. Pace was ok. Layout was average. It was clear that their summer had been dry. Friendly staff. Good local course overall, not great.

A good challenge

Fantastic course. Excellent greens. My only complaint is that i was approached by a lady member on the nineth fairway (she was on the eight fairway) to tell me that a ladys competition was taking place. I had my 8 year old daughter with me and she was hitting balls along with me. At no time did i hold up play. I ended my game after the nineth.
