Kilkenny Golf Club

We were put out in the middle of a big ladies competition. Pace of play was extremely slow and this ruined the round.

The course should not have taken our booking on this day

Kilkenny golf course never disappoints , lovely parkland layout with lots of doglegs and great holes to play. Always in excellent condition with brilliant greens.

Really enjoyed the day with full sunshine. It's an old golf course so you can feel the quality on the fairways and greens. Not especially long but greens make up for that with plenty of slope. Staff were exceptional in the pro shop. Really makes the difference to your day. Thanks!

This is a great course, unfortunately last Monday they had just sanded all the greens and we were not aware of this until we reached the first green. It would be nice if GolfNow or the Course would inform us of this at time of booking.

Kilkenny is always a great course to play, always in top condition and a nice challenge. Extremely welcoming to non members and so convient to Kilkenny city.

Course not overly long but with fast tricky greens. worth a visit

Can't fault this course. Tee boxes immaculate, fairways impeccable (if a bit tight in places) and greens were fantastic. Rough not too severe and while I spent a bit of time in there, I didn't lose any ball and always made good contact. Really liked the layout of the course. Cost€15 on a GolfNow deal, but still fantastic value at normal rates. Played Mount Worseley earlier in the week and it cost me €45, so I'd put Kilkenny ahead of it on that basis. Started at 8:20 as a single on Good Friday so had a clear run of it.
Clubhouse is excellent and locker room and toilets very clean and tidy.
Would love to play it again in the Summer.
Recommend this course to anyone.

Played this course for the 2nd time golf course in great condition really enjoyed it would recommend it to anyone look forward to playing it again

I Played here yesterday and ive a 3 ball booked in again for tomorrow.

The Course is in excellent condition at the moment, tee boxes are flat and very well maintained, fairways are nice and lush, bunkers and greens and excellent condition.The greens are fast and tricky.

The course doesnt play overly long, but it is a good challenge.

This is a course & club that is over 100 years old, so the course is mature and perfectly manicured. It's not overly long but is tight in parts and is a really good challenge. Greens are undulating and fast so we found them a little bit trickier than our home course. Overall could not fault the place, some really nice holes, but still bowled over by the condition of the place, superb.

The course is pretty open, however, the narrow fairways are challenging to hit, so a lot of time was spent playing out of the rough which provided the challenges.

The greens are spectacular and one can praise them enough. The course is worth playing just to putt on these greens.

Staff and members were very friendly.

Ive played this course a few times now and when I saw an opportunity to play for only €10 I jumped at it! The course was in excellent condition, the greens were very tough and the food in the clubhouse is second to none, overall very enjoyable day!
