With some of the best views in the north Atlanta area, Reunion Country Club is one of the most popular courses open to the public in the area. Designed by Michael Riley, the layout was voted "Best New Golf Course in Georgia" by Georgia Golf News when it opened in 2001. It features holes that are lined with tall Georgia pines, with strategic bunkers, washes, streams, and streams. The course starts out with two of the toughest holes on the layout. The first is a 558-yard dogleg left par 5. It's the no. 3 handicap hole on the course. And the second, a 442-yard dogleg right par 4 with carry off the tee to a green well-protected by bunkers, is the no. 1 handicap hole. The third hole is a difficult par-3 that plays more than 200 yards from the tips. The course ends with some pretty tough holes, too, with the 447-yard par-4 15th as the no. 3 handicap hole, and the long par-5 18th, a difficult dogleg left that plays through a chute of trees. There are seven sets of tees at Reunion, starting at 5,006 yards to 6,939 yards. In addition to the course, there's a full driving range and practice putting green. Golf lessons are also available. Inside the clubhouse is a well-stocked golf shop. And the 5609 at Reunion Hall is an exceptional dining facility at the club. Open to the public, it's known for its weekend brunch as well as its nice selection of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and dinner entrees.?
