To date, his company can proudly point to 12 golf courses throughout Florida and the Midwest. Utilizing his years of hands-on experience, Gary is presently hard at work overseeing the completing of a championship course: Arlington Ridge Golf & Country Club.A golf professional, NBC-TV commentator, and course architect, Koch launched his career in 1968 by winning his first Florida state junior title. While in college, Gary`s golf abilities matured as a member of the Florida Gators 1973 NCAA Championship golf team, the 1973 and 1975 Walker Cup Match teams, and the 1974 World Amateur Cup team. In 1975, after completing a successful amateur career, Gary joined the PGA tour. Over the ensuing 15 years he won six tour events and earned a solid reputation as a hardworking professional.Today, in addition to his active participation in Gary Koch Golf, Gary continues to pursue the sport he loves most as a playing member of the Champions Tour (formerly called the Senior PGA Tour), and as golf analyst for NBC-TV network telecasts of PGA Tour events, USGA major tournaments, and the Ryder Cup matches.
