Falcon Golf Club
About
Located near the Estrella and White Tank Mountains, the Falcon Golf Club is an affordable, user-friendly course with an interesting layout. The front nine has a target-style layout with a desert landscape while the back nine has a more traditional design. The greens are medium-sized with a subtle break and the fairways are wide open. Water hazards come into play on two holes and there are numerous bunkers as well, especially on the back nine. The signature hole of the golf course is the par-3, fifth hole. This notable hole has water to the right of the green and bunkers on the front right and left. With its location just south of Luke Air Force Base, fighter jets are regularly seen flying over Falcon Golf Club.

Decent Course
The course overall is pretty good. However, the bunkers are hard dirt and the greens are full of pitch marks from people not fixing their divets. The pace of play was painstakingly slow, it could have just been the day I went. I probably wouldn't play this course again unless the price was reduced.
Poor customer service
5 hour round is never a good thing. The thing that was totally wrong was no one cared. 5 groups on 1 hole, call the front desk and they did not care
Good Value
Played today and course was in good shape, particularly the Greens and fairways. Off the fairway could get a little scruffy but that's the risk you take when you sail it wide. You can score here but the bunkering keeps you on your toes if you get a little out of position. Fun day and will continue to come back
Terrible experience
First of all tee time reserved was not respected, a group of 20 players show up WITHOUT a tee time and they were put in between scheduled tee times! Then pace of play was super slow. No marshals or someone checking speed of play.
Then course is not in good shape, even now that is the high season!
Won’t play this course again.
Many improvements.
There have been many improvements in the past couple years.
Definitely need some new carts.
Better than Expected
Course is in better shape than in the past. Ok as a back up place to play when the better courses are priced for tourist season, from a snow bird!
Typical muni course
Fairways and greens were in good condition. But All the other areas around the course are pretty bleak. Staff was great. The show that the Air Force puts on is worth the green fees. Watching F16’s and F35’s was awesome.
Don’t underestimate this course
The greens are slower than most around but they don’t need to be. The course design is challenging enough you don’t want fast undulating greens
One for the memory bank
The course played great. Greens roles true and smooth. Fairways were in good condition. Greens are receptive especially #13 ( Got my 6th ace ). Enjoyed watch the cars race and the fighter jets take off and land. I would recommend you put this course on your good value list.
Plain Course
The course was in fairly good condition. Not very challenging, good course for beginners. There is really no real rough, you’re either on the fairway or in the dirt.
Nice surprise
First time I went here after many years of thinking about it. Course was in very good condition. Greens were well manicured and rolled accurately.
The course sits next (literally next to runway) to Luke AFB and many jets were doing touch and go's and manuvers. It was exciting to see some of the modern warplanes practicing.
I'd recommend this course without qualification.

pleasant surprise
this course is on it's way to joining some of the big dogs. they can leave the clubhouse alone, keep the gravel parking lot, maybe upgrade the carts in the near future, but keep doing what you are doing with the course. that is what we ultimately come out here for. i hope to come back, i just hope you have my early morning tee times
Noise
Nice course , greens good , just lots of noise from air base f35 s
The Sound of Freedom
The course and it’s staff are wonderful. I have played the course many times for these reasons. The par threes are some of the toughest in the area. The subtleties, such as slight undulations in the fairways and greens keep you on your toes at all times. The length of this course is quite challenging but force a golfer to focus on every shot. It is the type of course you could play everyday and experience something different. The golf course also allows an average person to experience the power and magnificence of the US Air Force. The course is next to a
“Top Gun” training center. I would recommend every golfer try this course at least once. This is a must experience.
Slow play but there was a frost delay
We have played at the Falcon numerous times. It is generally slow on the weekends if you don't go out early. Today there was a frost delay but we got out within 20 minutes of our tee times. Unfortunately, I think they crammed everyone in. We made it to the 14th hole by the 4 hour mark then quit. It would have easily been 5 1/2 hours if we had played all 18. Just a word of caution about the weekends. Weekdays the pace is usually fine. The course is in pretty good shape and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Nice surprise
Nice course in great condition. Walked 18 holes in pleasant surroundings, despite the din of jet planes from the adjacent airbase - no problem unless one is extremely sensitive to noise. This is one of my favourite courses so far in my exploration of good value courses in the Phoenix area.
Good place to sharpen your skills
Falcon Golf course in Litchfield Park has 18 holes of well maintained city course amenities. A chipping practice area, driving range and putting area. Staff was friendly and helpful during an early morning frost delay with prompt updates. If your looking for a relaxed environment to hone in your golf skills, Falcon golf course is for you!
Nice course
Course in very good shape but 4.5 hours to play is too long.
