you've never played one of the nearly 50 courses
designed by veteran architect Earl Stone, the
Gulf Shores Golf Association offers three of
his very best. The first is the 18-hole layout
at Rock Creek Golf Club, one of the most challenging
and grandly surprising courses in lower Alabama.
The
surprise at Rock Creek is the stunning topography,
with some of Baldwin County's highest elevations
overlooking freshwater wetlands and the Rock
Creek basin. The tall pines and hardwoods that
line nearly every fairway only enhance the visual
effect.
